The 2025 French Grand Prix left a mixed bag for Ducati Lenovo, with Marc Marquez's smart second place and Pecco Bagnaia's disastrous 2th-place finish, after falling on the first lap. Team manager Davide Tardozzi praised Marquez's handling of the race while reaffirming his commitment to reviving Bagnaia, who is in the midst of a technical and psychological crisis.

Sunday of Grand Prix of France left two very different faces in the box Ducati Lenovo. On one side, a Marc Marquez smart, strategic, second in the rain behind the unlikely winner Johann zarco, and on the other, a Pecco Bagnaia at rock bottom, unable to regain confidence on the Desmosedici GP24.5.

Asked by Moto.it and Sky Sport, Davide Tardozzi, team manager Ducati, did not avoid the difficulties: " Marc has applied to the letter what we have been talking about this weekHe understood that attacking at all costs, under these conditions, was not the right choice. He was mature, he brought home a precious second place. »

Marc Marquez and Pecco Bagnaia

Davide Tardozzi: “ Pecco Bagnaia hasn't forgotten how to ride a motorcycle »

But the tone changes when it comes to bagnaia, double world champion, now in crisis: " Pecco has been the protagonist of the last four years. He hasn't forgotten how to ride a motorcycle. If he doesn't win today, it's not his fault alone. We, the team, have failed to give him what he needs. »

Tardozzi highlights a clear objective: to rebuild it, humanly and technically. "He has to come back and fight for victory. He has the value to face even Marc. But today, his morale is very lowIt's up to us to help him. What can we do? We'll discuss it this week with Gigi (Dall'Igna). »

Between a Marc Marquez now leader of the championship and a bagnaia losing his bearings, Ducati will soon have to solve a difficult equation: how to balance the thirst for victory of one with the fragility of the other?
