Aleix Espargaró

Aleix Espargaró had a difficult Australian Grand Prix, despite a promising start that allowed him to gain several positions. The Aprilia rider found himself relegated to the back of the pack after contact with Jack Miller at the end of the first lap, causing a side wing on his bike to break. Espargaró struggled to find the rhythm, but finished the race in 16th position, marking another disappointment in a difficult series of races for him.

« It was a disaster, a very difficult race. ", said I will espargaro after the race at Phillip Island. I had a very good start, recovering 6 or 7 positions. But then, Jack Miller hit me in turn 10 and broke my right wing. This unbalanced the bike, and after that I found myself in last position. I tried to get back up, but despite a decent pace at times, I have never been able to be consistent. I made a lot of mistakes, and without grip it was very difficult to ride the bike today »

Aleix expressed his frustration over the incident with Jack Miller, although he downplayed the need to talk about it further. We need to be more careful and respectful towards other drivers. If he broke my wing, it's because he hit me hard enough.. I went from 13th position to last, behind Savadori. There is nothing more to say »

Aleix Espargaró: “ Even in my last year I show very good speed »

Despite recent difficulties, Aleix Espargaro prefers to keep a positive outlook on his season. It's not just about watching the last two races. You have to look at the whole picture. I'm still 10th in the championship, I've had a few sprint podiums, two or three poles this season... So even in my last year, I'm showing very good speed. »

Aleix Espargaró, who is in his final races in MotoGP, is hoping to finish the season on a higher note despite the recent obstacles. His determination remains intact, and he continues to fight, even if the results do not always reflect his efforts on the track.
