Big favorite for the Argentine Grand Prix MotoGP 2025  Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo Team) has not missed its return to the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit since 2019: dominating the FP1 and Practice, the Spaniard also broke the absolute circuit record that he had held since 2014!

After his perfect performance in Thailand, number 93 is now clearly a scarecrow, much to the dismay of his teammate. Francis Bagnaia who seems to be struggling to get back on his feet, narrowly maintaining a direct passage into Q2 after an unfortunate fall during Friday's Practice.

For the moment, the opposition comes rather fromAlex Marquez (BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP), always very solid on his Ducati GP24, of a Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia Racing) proudly taking up the challenge of making the RS-GP of Noale shine or even a Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) taking advantage of the eagerness of a Peter Acosta less serene than expected.

Behind the opportunist Fabio DiGiannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team) and the towed Alex Rins (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team), we still find the French duo made up of Johann zarco (CASTROL Honda LCR) and fabio quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team), once again assured of being in Q2.

When the red lights go out... Marc Márquez rushes first with Fermin Aldeguer, while it is this time Alex Marquez who stays in his box the longest.

In terms of tires, almost everyone uses the tires used in qualifying.

At the end of the first round, Johann zarco takes command in 1'39.110 ahead Alex Rins, Marco Bezzecchi, Franco Morbidelli, Pedro Acosta and Fabio Quartararo.

On the next pass, the LCR driver improves to 1'38.443 while Franco Morbidelli falls without gravity at turn #7.

Despite its medium rear tire, Johann zarco continues to improve and, after a brief takeover ofAlex Marquez, registered 1'38.009 at the top of the table.

Alex Marquez, who has been very present since the start of the season, then took the lead in 1'37.992 before improving to 1'37.795.

As the halfway point approaches, most of the drivers return to their boxes while the hierarchy is made up ofAlex Márquez, Johann Zarco, Marc Márquez, Fabio Di Giannantonio, Pedro Acosta, Fermin Aldeguer, Marco Bezzecchi, Jack Miller, Joan Mir, Luca Marini, Francesco Bagnaia, Franco Morbidelli, Fabio Quartararo, Brad Binder, Maverick Viñales, Raul Fernandez, Aleix Rins, Miguel Oliveira, Enea Bastianini, Somkiat Chantra, Ai Ogura, and Lorenzo Savadori.

At the restart, some drivers set off with a new soft rear tire, including Fermin Aldeguer, Jack Miller, Luca Marini and Franco Morbidelli.

However, there is little improvement except that of Johann Mir who climbs back to 9th position with a soft rear tire already having 13 laps.

In the wake, fabio quartararo steals this place from him, while Marc Márquez takes advantage of Johann zarco, both fitted with a 15-lap soft rear tyre.

Francis Bagnaia figure in 14th position before jumping to 7th thanks to the wake of Marc Marquez.

We now head towards the qualifications…
